The area of Stafilos, is very popular, being only at a distance of
four kilometres from the island capital,
Skopelos. It is a sizable cove, that is followed behind the headland by
Velanio - the unofficial nude beach of the island. Stafilos is
an organized "blue flag" beach;
there are two canteens, one on each beach. In the area you can find 2 or
3 restaurants and a super market. The crystal-clear sea and the dense green vegetation make
Stafilos one of the most important beaches in Skopelos Island for ideal
holidays. Buses run frequently to Skopelos town. |
